152mc Working with light: Pinhole Camera Number 3 – Task 2 Development

Having explored the idea of making my own complete pinhole camera and using light sensitive paper to capture the images it turned out to be impractical for the task I had in mind. Because of this I decided to go for a new method, the digital pinhole.

I had once taken an image using a digital pinhole camera so I was aware it would work and this would allow me to be able to check the image and exposure at the time.

A digital pinhole camera is simply a normal DSLR body with a hole in the body cap. Images are then simply shot in the same manner providing instant feedback to the user.

I drilled a small hole in the body cap and then stuck a piece of black card over the hole and made a smaller hole using a pin.
